Released in 1927. Portrait of King George V in right window. Serial number on top right and lower left. 100 in top left and lower right corners. Stylised GRI above portrait. Circle of issue in top centre in varying positions and font in three types. ONE / HUNDRED / RUPEES in Central Denomination Panel. Signed FOR THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA.

Reverse

Language panel in centre, RUPEES below left window and 100 below right window.

Paper

White, handmade; moulded. Initially printed in England with circle of isssue in black and subsequently at Nasik with circle of issue in green.

Microlettering

Micro pattern with 100 within a decorative square in both windows on reverse.
