Reverse
RESERVE BANK OF INDIA in top centre. Rs. 100 in top left corner and Rs. 100 in Burmese on top right corner. ONE /HUNDRED / RUPEES / 100 / RUPEES in left rosette. The vignette of the tusker elephant in forest clearing logs of wood in centre divides denomination in words in Burmese in two lines.

Obverse: RESERVE BANK OF INDIA written horizontally in a strip on hexagonal pattern throughout, including edges in two colours. RESERVE / BANK OF /INDIA / R.B.O.I. along the sides of a hexagon enclosing a tiger and a palm tree alternatively in Promise text panel. Relief underprint of BURMA/ RS/ 100 on either side of peacock.
Reverse: RESERVE BANK OF INDIA intertwined triangular pattern with face of tiger along all edges in two colours and RESERVE BANK OF INDIA in watermark window in reverse.
