Coat of Arms Type 1 on top left and watermark window on top right. Promise text in three lines with the denomination reading “EK HAZAAR RUPYE SICCA OSMANIA” in words in centre. Denomination in words clockwise in Marathi, Kannada, O.S. Rs. ONE THOUSAND. and Telugu. For the Government in Urdu in lower right panel and signature in lower left panel. Denomination in numerals in Persian, Marathi, Telugu, Kannada and English in a panel on either side.
