Printed on paper of density 26 grams per square meter by Perkins & Heath, London using Patent Hardened Steel Plate.
Reverse
BENGAL BANK in Gothic and name of printer in top oval and type of plate in lower oval within an ornamental panel.

Within an ornamented rectangle, BANK OF BENGAL in first line; Bangla and Hindi in the second line, Persian in the third line.
Note
- The printers by 1822 were known as “Perkins & Heath”. In 1829, Heath gave up his shares and J. B. Bacon bought in as “Perkins & Bacon”. Henry Petch joined in 1835, and thus the firm was actually known as “Perkins, Bacon & Petch”. When Petch died in 1852, the firm became just “Perkins, Bacon”.
